“if i think [the prompt] is god, i’ll run it myself and merge it” - the future of PRs could be prompts (trying to get intent) and context.

Typically, we write descriptions after the job is finished - to try to rationalize it. But now it’s Prompt-Driven Development.

Context

"I don't like pull requests (PRs) any more. A large chunk code change doesn't tell me much about the intent or why it was done.

I now prefer prompt requests. Just share the prompt you ran / want to run.

What’s possible because of this?

More focus on intent, less on implementation (assuming AI can figure out implementation later)
